Andre Russell returns to West Indies T20I squad for England series. The T20 World Cup, which begins on Tuesday, will be the last home T20 series for the West Indies in 2023. The team will also co-host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in June 2024. Vice-captain Shai Hope and stand-out batter is set to play a pivotal role in the upcoming games for the West Indies. The squad also includes uncapped 21-year-old all-rounder Matthew Forde. Gudakesh Motie, who recently impressed with his left-arm spin, has been recalled to the squad after missing the India tour due to injury. The West Indies’ selection panel has the opportunity for squad adjustments ahead of the final two matches of the series, in Trinidad on December 19 and 21.
