India announces strong squad for Women’s ODI against Australia with Richa Ghosh, Shreyanka Patil, and Renuka Thakur making the cut

India has announced an unchanged T20I squad against Australia but made significant changes to its ODI squad. The team is on a high after back-to-back Test wins against England and Australia and will now play in the shorter formats. The ODIs will see eight out of eight players who toured Bangladesh in July being replaced by Richa Ghosh, Saika Ishaque, Shreyanka Patil, Mannat Kashyap, Renuka Thakur, and Titas Sadhu.

The ODIs will be played on December 28, December 30, and January 2 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. The T20I squad is unchanged from the one that lost to England, with the games scheduled for January 5, 7, and 9.
