Chaturvedi opened with Karthik SU, with whom he put on a century stand, and then added a partnership of 290 with Harshil Dharmani. The match was called off once Chaturvedi reached his milestone, finishing with 404 not out off 638 balls. Yuvraj Singh’s previous record was 358 in a Cooch Behar Trophy final match, while the overall highest individual score in the tournament remains Vijay Zol’s 451 not out.
