Alyssa Healy will lead Australia’s women’s cricket team, replacing Meg Lanning as captain across all three formats. Healy, who was previously the vice-captain, will be joined by Tahlia McGrath as vice-captain. Healy expressed her honor and gratitude for the opportunity to lead the team, while McGrath looks forward to supporting her. The decision was ratified at a Cricket Australia board meeting. Healy will begin her new role in the upcoming Test against India on December 21.
