Australia leads the World Test Championship 2023-25 points table with 56.25% points from eight Tests after their eight-wicket win over Pakistan. Pakistan, who lost the series 3-0, are now sixth with 36.66% points.
India were briefly on top after their seven-wicket win over South Africa but are now second with 54.16% points from four Tests. South Africa, New Zealand, and Bangladesh are joint-third with 50% points from two games each.
In the Boxing Day and New Year’s Test, South Africa defeated India in Centurion, but India retaliated with a win in Cape Town. In the Australia-Pakistan Tests, Australia won both matches, with a close call in Melbourne and David Warner’s farewell win in Sydney.
West Indies, England, and Sri Lanka occupy the bottom three spots in the points table. Australia and India have upcoming Test series against West Indies and England, respectively, while South Africa is set to face New Zealand with a second-string squad.
