Left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen has been closely studying Ravindra Jadeja, the master spinner, ahead of Australia’s Test against India next month in Mumbai. This will be the first Test on Indian soil since 1984. Jonassen, 31, is determined to make the most of this opportunity, along with her fellow spinners Ashleigh Gardner, Alana King, and Georgia Wareham. She spoke highly of Jadeja’s incredible control of pace and ability to beat both sides of the bat. Jonassen mentioned that she used to watch Dan Vettori, but now looks up to Jadeja as a bowler and is trying to emulate his style in her own game.
