Meg Lanning has announced her retirement from international cricket after realizing that she was no longer fully committed to the sport. She is relieved and excited to have made this decision and is open to new opportunities. Lanning will continue to play domestic cricket and still enjoys competitive cricket. She thanked her family and friends, and shared her pride about leading Australia in a successful period from 2017 onwards. She will miss the big moments and competitive side of cricket but remains open-minded about her future.
