1 min read

Middlesex will play some home matches at Essex’s ground in a cost-cutting bid. The club, dealing with financial challenges, is looking to reduce costs by playing fixtures at Chelmsford. Middlesex has previously used other venues but is now focusing on minimizing expenses. CEO Andrew Cornish stated the club needs to control costs and mentioned the liability of setting up infrastructure at out-ground venues. The team will play several matches at Chelmsford in May and July, as well as one fixture at Radlett. Cornish noted that reducing out-ground set-up costs can have a positive impact, and that discussions with Essex have been promising.
