In a thrilling finish in East London, Nepal defeated Afghanistan by just one wicket in the ICC Under-19 World Cup. Nepal’s Aakash Chand contributed with 5 wickets for 34 runs to secure the win. In response to Afghanistan’s score of 145, Nepal struggled early but managed to came out on top with a steady performance from their players. Meanwhile, West Indies also secured a big win over England in the ICC Under-19 World Cup, with Nathan Edward playing a crucial role in their two-wicket victory. Edward picked up 3 wickets for 28 runs with his left-arm seam and then scored an unbeaten 49 to help his team chase down England’s target of 192.
