PCB requests indefinite postponement of Pakistan’s 2024 tour of Netherlands

The Pakistan tour of the Netherlands in 2024 has been postponed at the PCB’s request. Pakistan was scheduled to play three T20Is against the Netherlands in early May 2024 as part of a tour of Europe that also included games against Ireland and England. The tour was meant to be in preparation for the T20 World Cup in June 2024. The KNCB’s high-performance manager confirmed that the tour had been put off due to scheduling clashes and player workload concerns. The KNCB looks forward to rescheduling the series to a later date. The postponement is disappointing for the Netherlands, who were looking forward to the series as part of their preparation for the T20 World Cup. Pakistan and the Netherlands have not yet faced each other in a bilateral T20I fixture. Last year, the two teams showed mutual support at the T20 World Cup. The PCB did not comment on the postponement of the tour, and it is uncertain when the series will eventually be played.
