Adelaide Oval would become available for the qualifier on January 22 and final on January 24, if the Strikers qualify. Heat could play home finals matches in southeast Queensland, including the competition’s final on January 24 at the 27,000-seat Heritage Bank Stadium. BBL has reverted to a top-four finals series this summer. Australian Cricketers Association is considering Christmas Day matches for BBL. Some players are open to the idea, but there are concerns about support staff and other employees.
