Quetta Gladiators have appointed Shane Watson as head coach and Shaun Tait as bowling coach. Tait, former Pakistan’s fast bowling coach, will join ahead of the ninth season of the PSL. “I’d like to thank Nadeem Omar for trusting me with the bowling group,” Tait said. Tait previously worked with most of the bowlers he will now coach. He was vocal about maintaining high workloads for express pace bowlers during his time with Pakistan. Tait praised Mohammad Hasnain, who he will coach once more. Gladiators have missed the playoffs for four seasons and are making changes to their coaching staff. Tait was Pakistan coach on a one-year contract and the PSL starts on February 8.
