West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl first vs England in the third ODI in Barbados, which has been reduced to 43-overs a side due to rain.
Both sides have tweaked their line-ups for this deciding match. West Indies will debut right-arm seamer Matthew Forde in place of Oshane Thomas. England’s Brydon Carse’s illness means Matthew Potts will make his fifth ODI appearance.
Due to the time spent under covers, there is the possibility of extra juice in the pitch which, combined with the cloud cover and moisture in the air might have led home skipper Shai Hope to ask Jos Buttler’s charges to bat first. Both teams will be wearing black armbands today to mourn the passing of former West Indies batter Joe Solomon and ex-CWI President Clyde Butts.
