British Government Calls for Fair Visa Treatment for Shoaib Bashir

England Captain Ben Stokes expressed his disappointment at the situation and said they considered not traveling until Bashir’s visa issue was resolved. The British government has urged India to treat British citizens fairly during the visa process. The ECB has received assurances that the matter will be resolved, but there has been little progress. Bashir was ruled out of the first Test and England hopes that he will join the squad by Sunday. Stokes expressed his frustration with the situation and called for a quick resolution. India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, expressed sympathy for Bashir’s plight and hoped that he will join the squad soon.
