Sydney Sixers overpowered Brisbane Heat in their BBL clash, led by seamer Ben Dwarshuis. Captain Moises Henriques and Daniel Hughes batted well to set a total of 152 for 8. Despite earlier concerns, Sixers’ disciplined quicks bowled excellently, with Dwarshuis taking 5 for 21. The Heat’s struggles with their batting order continued, and Sixers easily secured a home BBL final. Heat’s title drought now hangs in the balance as they head to the Challenger match. Despite some initial concerns about the Gold Coast surface, Sixers were able to dominate the game. It all sets the stage for an exciting final at the SCG on January 24.
