Patidar replaces Kohli in India’s Test squad against England

India’s Test squad against England lacks reserve specialist batters with Virat Kohli unavailable. Only KS Bharat and Dhruv Jurel, one of whom will act as the specialist wicketkeeper, are available. 30-year-old Rajat Patidar, who recently scored 151 runs in the first match against England Lions, has been included in the squad. Padikkal and Rinku Singh have been added to the India A squad in place of B Sai Sudharsan. The first Test of the five-match series between India and England starts on January 25th in Hyderabad. The squad for the first two Tests against England includes Rohit Sharma as captain and players like Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and more.
