Rashid Khan withdraws from Pakistan Super League as he continues cautious approach in return from back surgery. He played for Lahore Qalandars in last three PSL seasons, winning titles in 2022 and 2023. Qalandars have to secure another player in his place. He traveled to India with Afghanistan team-mates but was not fit to play. Rashid is on course to be fit in time for IPL commitments with Gujarat Titans. Lahore Qalandars will also sign a partial replacement for Dan Lawrence. Noor Ahmad has withdrawn due to international commitments while Zalmi will also sign a partial replacement for Naveen-ul-Haq. Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators also need partial replacements for their players.
