Johnson’s cricket career was almost over a while back when he suffered a stress fracture to his foot. However, after a last-ditch surgery, he made a name for himself in the Brisbane Heat during the BBL campaign, especially for his nerves and performances at the death. Although he has also performed well in overseas leagues, Johnson believes that his strengths lie in the red-ball game and is hoping to focus on longer-format cricket.
